American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons
New Members Announced
OVERVIEW: At the recent Annual Meeting of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES), held in Boston, Massachusetts, October 6-9, 2016, Miguel A Ramirez, MD was elected to join our organization. Membership in ASES is a privilege and an honor. Only experienced orthopaedic surgeons who have completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery, elbow surgery, and/or sports medicine are considered for membership. Candidates must meet strict academic and clinical requirements to become members of ASES.
Dr. Ramirez, in his Second year in practice in Peoria, Il, has ascended quickly in his career being recognized with such a national honor. Membership in American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, which has only 663 members, is by invitation only. Nominees to membership must be sponsored by two active members of the organization. Congratulations to Dr. Miguel Ramirez on becoming a Candidate Member of the society.
